Dalton Rogers is a seminarian for the Diocese of Fresno, California, studying for the Roman Catholic priesthood at Mount Angel Seminary in St. Benedict, Oregon. A convert to Catholicism, Dalton grew up in Porterville, California, and developed a passionate Catholic faith during high school. While pursuing his career in college, Dalton came to realize that God had always been inviting him to consider the priesthood, gently bringing him back to a place of encounter with that call again and again throughout his years. After graduation, Dalton entered the seminary, where he is being formed to more readily hear and respond to God’s call in his daily life. Through the Total Surrender blog, Dalton shares his own spiritual journey as he seeks to “totally surrender” his life to the will of the Father every day.
